Mice are a cute and fairly low maintenance pet, good for beginners and experienced rodent enthusiasts alike. Because they are omnivores, they need a varied diet. Typically you will want to include pellets intended for mice and rats to ensure that they have some protein in their diet, as well as supplementary fruits and vegetables.
